LC Control

Clarity Chromatography Station LC ControlThe LC Control (o/n A24) unlocks all LC modules in Clarity software. The direct control of Liquid chromatography sets generaly includes the control HPLC Pump gradients, setting the idle flows, etc.
DataApex provides generic support for direct control of pumps controlled voltage and frequency by means of CB20 D/A and D/f Converter.
An option to control pumps controlled over RS232 line is also available. For more details see the LC Universal driver. The scope of control for a specific High Peformance Liquid Chromatography pump can be found in the description of the respective control module.

Available GC Control modules:

Agilent 1100

Control For Agilent 1100The Agilent 1100 driver can control Agilent 1100 series HPLC systems with:

* DAD, MWD, VWD, FLD and RID detectors
* Quarternary, Binary and Isocratic Pumps
* Column compartments
* Autosamplers (standard and thermostated)

The direct control can be performed via:

* 82357A USB/GPIB Interface
* 82350A PCI/GPIB Interface
* LAN

The 82355 and 82431 ISA/GPIB Interfaces are not supported.

Ecom LCP4100

Control for ECOM LCP4100The Ecom LCP4100 driver can control Ecom HPLC pumps LCP series 4100. The control is performed over RS232 line. The driver is implemented as a control profile for Clarity LC UNI Driver.
For proper operation of the control module firmware version 2.2 or higher is required.

Flux Rheos 2000 Control

Control for Flux Rheos 200 ControlThe Flux Rheos 2000 driver can control the HPLC pump over RS232 line. Clarity with LC Control enables direct gradient control. The high pressure gradient is created from up to four individual gradient components where each component is delivered by individual pump.

Gilson 30x

Control for Gilson 30xThe Gilson 30x Control module allows for direct control of the Gilson Pumps 302-307. The high pressure gradient is created from up to four individual gradient components where each component is delivered by individual pump.

The user can easily create a gradient method from the LC Control window, set a percentage of each gradient component and an overall flow rate in the gradient table. All parameters including parameters controlling pump behavior in the Idle state are a part of the method. Therefore it is possible to create various gradient profiles and choose - only by loading - the corresponding method. Actual flow rates of each gradient component and their overall sum and pressure can be monitored in the independent LC Monitor. Control is realized via a standard PC serial port using a cable supplied with the Gilson pump.
The special GSIOC converter is required.

Universal LC Control

Universal ControlThe DataApex Universal LC driver is designed to function with LC Pumps controlled by text commands using the COM port (RS232).
The pump must be able to change flow upon external command. It is not possible to use this module to control pumps that need to receive the whole gradient table.
